In addition to being invested in the electrical profession, he developed a (DCS) Distributive Control System training program while at DuPont that was accepted throughout the DuPont Corporation. He transitioned to training other professionals and became one of the experts who would train new and experienced technicians who had higher potential for success throughout the United States. This includes plant sites across 27 States in the industries of Petrochemical, Paper and Pulp, Fertilizer, Energy and Power, as well as Municipalities.
Mr. Cliett is currently working on the second phase of developing a laptop version of his hands-on class, enabling the program to be part of two-year college programs, apprenticeship programs and refresher training for the technicians in all of industry. Having taught over 5000 students, he is proud to have contributed to the effort to help prevent serious incidents and accidents from occurring in all these industries.
